Chris – Drums

Chris started playing drums at the age of 14 having been born with fingers too fat for guitar. He is a massive Queen fan, particularly the early and mid 70s era. In fact it was Roger Taylor’s drum solo on Keep Yourself Alive that made him want to play drums.

Other drumming influences include, Cozy Powell, Ian Paice, John Bonham and in later years Mike Portnoy.

Since age 16 Chris has been gigging regularly in original bands up to the early 2000s before spells in rock covers bands including Glitz, Hair Metal Hero’s and Midnight Alpha. He is a busy boy playing in two other bands currently, Sons of Purple – a tribute to the music of Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Rainbow, and he also plays alongside Paul in Unchained.
