The Corner House – Review

Well we turned up at the Corner House to a pretty good crowd,  most were tucking into a juicy steak and some were watching the football.  So after a short wait for the match to stop we set up left of the bar.

This was a strange venue as we were playing to the central pillar and xmas tree across the main entrance with most of the punters hidden from view – but not to worry we cracked on and delivered our usual professional set.

Second set saw a lot more of our fans turn up as we launched into   20t hCentury Boy – hang o, n it sounded rubbish,  during play we were all checking our tuning – who was it –  it needed a  stop to discover that Glens bass was massively out of tune,  it would appear that some helpful soul had actually detuned his guitar during the break – thanks whoever you were.

We noticed a rock chic head banging to some of our more driving numbers – turned out to be Georgie a band agent out for a night out, anyway we made ourselves known and she is looking into a possible gig at the Gate for xmas eve.

We had to cut short as the landlady wanted to close up shop, but we did mange to get in a few encores before the curtains finally came down.
