The Wetmore Whistle – Review
Well, what can you say, what a cracking gig at the Wetmore in Burton on Saturday night. Sensational crowd and a fantastic atmosphere.
Like our previous gig at this premium live music venue, the room was full of people who were there to see good live rock music and engaged with us from the start, making for a great atmosphere and spurred us on to give everything we could to show them a good time. Coming off the back of the G&D gig the night before having a few technical sound issues at the beginning we were definitely up for rocking the walls of the Wetmore.
We had many familiar faces come down which included lads from Big Licks, Murder of Crows & Old Skool, thanks for your support lads and your positive feedback, which means a lot coming from fellow muso’s. Big thanks to all our other followers who also came down to make a night of it.
The second set went on through to past midnight, but still they wanted more, so again we gave everything we had and have the blisters on our fingers to prove it. The place was bouncing pretty much all night and most were singing along – sometime we wish we could watch ourselves as everyone seemed to be having such a great time.
Looking forward to our return in October, it would have been sooner but unfortunately we could not match dates with the landlord until then.
A great night, great people, great venue, great atmosphere, great time had by all – need to rest for a bit now. Cheers & see ya later.
