Smithy’s Marina Bar – Review

Last Friday TTB found itself back at Smithy’s,  this ever more popular music venue which is becoming more and more popular as one of the best local venues for live music,  and they do some fair grub to boot.

Getting there early I was surprised to see how many people were about the place,with the car par being almost full and a number of caravans blocking the entrance, trying to get into the camp site.  It urns out that a caravan club rally was taking place many of the people were already in the bar sampling their wares.

As usual much of the back-line, PA and lighting was provided and already in place so making set up relatively easy,  although there was not rhythm Amp, and Mark chose to use his own equipment.   We were set up quite quickly and ready to rock.

By now a lot more people were arriving and the place was getting quite full.  Thanks to all those who came down to support us, us, always great to see many familiar faces in the audience.

So we went through the set, an everyone was having a great time,  and we were having a great time too.   By the end we were all pretty exhausted but found time to pass out the freebies and have a chat with most who came down, thanks for all your kind words and we look forward to coming back later in July.
