Two gigs cancelled

Would you believe it, in the space of three days we have had two gigs cancelled because of enforced changes at the venues.

Firstly, The Kings Head at Hilton have had to stop having live bands because of the noise problem (must be those other bands), this is a shame because landlord Dave is an excellent chap who loves his music, he tells us that going forward he can only book acoustic acts.

Today we had a call from the management of The Shoulder Of Mutton in Barton Under Needwood, it seems the pub has been sold and is closed for refurbishment, it’s possible the new owners may carry on with live music when the venue re-opens, but we’ll have to wait and see. So it’s on our bikes to try and fill the vacant dates with alternative venues, if you think you can help, don’t be shy let us know, we would show our appreciation in ways you could not imagine.
